As a new graduate occupational therapist, I am eager to support people with disabilities to achieve autonomy and satisfaction in their daily lives. My educational background and clinical experiences afford a holistic understanding of the interactions between a person, their environment, and the desired activity to best support their success in daily life. Specializing in assistive technology, I love problem-solving to match the appropriate technology to the person and their unique needs. I am driven by the spark when an activity assumed to be impossible suddenly becomes a goal within reach for someone with a disability. Oftentimes, people are unaware of the AT tools that exist, so providing education is a significant part of my work.
